Fundraising sale of handmade face masks, head bands and hair scrunchies! Prices/requested donations can be found below: Hi, I hope everyone is keeping safe and well. Unfortunately the volunteering I was doing has come to a halt for now due to lockdown. Covid has hit charities very hard this year and my heart goes out to them. I have decided to put my lockdown hobby to good use. I am raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association following the loss of someone very close to my family last month from this cruel disease. The cause of this disease is unknown and there is currently no cure, so a lot more research is needed. The support that MNDA give to families affected by this disease can make the world of difference, such as providing communication tools. After the success of making some accessories as gifts for a few friends of mine, I have decided that I am going to give away what I have made with my left over material but would kindly ask for a donation to MNDA via a secure tribute fund page. The cost of any postage will be covered by me. If any friends or family would like any of the below, I would kindly ask for the following donations: Hair scrunchie - £2. Headband - £4. Washable/reusable face coverings (2 layers of cotton fabric with elastic left untied so that it can be tied to get the best fit for your face) - £4. I think these would make a great Christmas gift or stocking filler! Please message me for more information or if anything below takes your fancy and you would like to make a donation. I have a very limited number of each, as shown in the photo. There may be some green polka dot ones available: I have the material but just want to see what the consensus is on what I have already made before I start cutting and making. If I don’t already have your address, you must be willing to give permission for me to acquire and use your address for delivery. It will only be used for this purpose and will be deleted as soon as your parcel is sent.
